Live Events are the best way to network with others who are seeking growth just like you are.
Napoleon Hill the author of "Think & Grow Rich" says that a mastermind is formed when more than 2 people get together. That mastermind is something that you harder ever get by yourself.
Personally, my growth has been exponential at every live event I have ever been to!

Do you feel like you might be in a rut or a "funk"?
I have totally been there before too. and that's why we are hosting this!!!
The only way I can get myself out of these "funks" I get into is to get around others and "jump start" my mind.
As humans, we are happiest and the most fulfilled when learning and contributing to others.

Let's be honest here. The main reason I go to events is for the location!
Either it is extremely convenient.
Or
It is in a place that I LOVE like the beach and I need to get my dose of vitamin SEA.
Who doesn't like the beach????
Mindset is the key ingredient to success.
I have taken the time to attend TONS of events and extracted the BEST tactics and tools that actually work.
We are going to dive deep into every tactic. Not only that I will be helping you learn exactly how to use these and how to teach your team how to use these same tactics.
When I started utilizing these they allowed me to grow my team from just me to over 11 people within a year. And we did it profitably!
Not only that we actually have people reaching out to us weekly wanting to work with us!!!
What would you give to have people WANTING and waiting to work with you?!?!?!?
When you master your mindset it changes everything!
You be thinking, “What the heck, I already know how to KISS?”
This is not the same KISS that you are thinking about though!!
The KISS I am talking about is Keep It Stupid Simple.
In this session, we are going to be giving you the exact tactics that I used to help change a company with more than 4000 people, entire culture in less than 12 months.
If I can lead that revolution, then you can definitely do it with your company.
This is like using “cheat codes” when you play a video game with your kids!! It makes it easy to kick their butt. Lol
We aren’t going to stop there though. We are also going to get into how to KISS everything you do!
What would you give to make a REAL difference with your customers and team?
Do you have any issues achieving the goals you set?
If not then you might not be setting a big enough STRETCH goal for yourself.
If you can’t ever achieve your goals then maybe you need some tactics to learn how to achieve your goals.
In this session, I am going to be getting down to the roots of how to set and achieve your goals.
Not only how to achieve your goals but also how to help your team set goals.
And then keep them on track to actually achieve their goals so that they feel accomplished.
How would you have felt if your manager would have helped you set and achieve goals that were career related?
It would have empowered you to be a better employee.
Am I right??????
This session is going to be amazing and you won’t want to miss it!
If you aren’t GREAT at networking then you won’t want to miss this bonus session.
I am going to help everyone start the evening off right with an amazing opportunity to start networking.
During this session, we are going to cover everything you need to know about how to network.
How to build your own network, tapping into an existing network, and “digging your well”.
You’ll have to be there to learn what I mean by “digging your well”!!

When I first started my leadership journey one of my mentors Ezra Lee told me to read the Dale Carnegie book, How To Win Friends And Influence People.
After studying that book and hundreds of others, I have been able to create my own frameworks that have the exact principles that I found work the best.
I have made TONS of mistakes and failed over and over again until I was able to find the perfect principles that I now use in every aspect of my life.
These work great with your team, and other leaders in your company or industry.
I even use them any time I am selling anything!
This session is going to be one that is guaranteed to help you succeed!
Having the right tools for the job can mean the difference between failure and success.
Not only that - But have you ever tried to build a house with rock instead of a hammer?
Or even better a nail gun?????
I’m not saying that it’s impossible to build a house with a rock.
What I am saying is that when you get the right tools it makes it much more enjoyable to do the work. Also, the job gets done way faster.
In this session, we are going to be talking about some of the best tools in the industry and how you can implement them.
I spend tons of time talking to companies across the nation in tons of different industries about what tools they love and what tools work best for them.
What does that mean for you?
It means that I get to see the best of the best and the worst of the worst.
Then I get to demo those tools and give you the best in your industry advice.

I truly believe that you are the “sum” of the people that you surround yourself with.
What I mean is that if you hang out with 5 drug addicts, then you will become the 6th.
But…..
If you hang out with 5 millionaires then you will be the 6th millionaire!!!
In this session, we are going to dig into how you can find successful people to surround yourself with.
If you are like I was, then you are probably not sure where to start.
No Problem!!!
We are going to give you some amazing ideas to get started! Not only that, we will also help you find the right groups that fit what you need the most.
Tony Robbins says that proximity is power! I truly believe that if you want to grow then you need to put yourself around people who will help you to grow.
This is one of my favorite topics to talk about!!
The first time that I ever invested in myself I thought that I was taking away from or depriving my family.
What I ultimately discovered was that when I finally invested in myself I was able to give them so much more.
Because I had more to give!!!

March 22-23 2023!!!

The Marina Village is one of the hottest locations in San Diego.
Eclipse DOT fought hard to secure it just for Leadership Hack-A-Thon
Here is our 6-step framework to help make it easier for you
The Shor Version:
Step 1: Learn About The Event & It's Details.
Before you talk about the event with your manager, you’ll want to be sure you’ve explored the event agenda, speakers, and what you will learn.
Think about all the options available and start considering which sessions align best with your company’s objectives and aspirations.
Don’t forget to ask yourself: what are our short-term and long-term goals? Will this event help me get there faster?
You May also want to find out these key details:
o Attendee and speaker demographics
o Dates and times to make sure that it will not conflict with any current responsibilities.
o Event format. Virtual vs. in-person, types of sessions, etc.
Step 2: Build a schedule!
Create an outline of you’re your favorite sessions and what you expect to get from them. Don’t hesitate to be specific.
Here’s an example we came up with for one of our Goal Setting Sessions:
You could say something like “Attending the session on How To Set And Achieve Your Goals is going to not only help me learn how to set GREAT goals for myself. I am going to be able to come back and help others on our team to do the same. Can you imagine how much better our team would be if we all knew how to set and actually achieve stretch goals? The company would explode, in a good way!!”
You may also want to think about who you’d like to network with. Create a list of 5 or so people that would attend the event or maybe even the speakers who will have the most relevant knowledge to share with you. Then develop a few questions you’d like to ask them. You can use this list of speakers and questions as another tool to help you prove that the event is going to be an amazing experience and that you are prepared to make the most of it.
Step 3: Why Do You Want To Go?
You want to explain to your manager why the conference is unique and why it is worth going to. Here are some example value statements we came up with for our events last year. As a first step, try editing these sample statements to align with whatever event you’re trying to attend. We’ve attempted to make them as general as possible to fit a wide variety of events that we host.
I will gain practical skills and learn proven methods for maximizing the company’s funds and impact. To deliver on our company’s mission, I need to ensure I am using the most strategic methods that are proven to get results. At this event, I am going to l learn from national and global experts who are using proven methods and tools to improve the quality of their programs and services and achieve amazing results. Attending the event will provide me with skills, knowledge, and methods to move the company forward.
Learning from real success stories means I will save time and money trying to figure out what works. Many organizations waste time going through a lot of trial and error before discovering the formula to success. A good event will challenge our current way of thinking, but will also provide us with actionable advice and takeaways. At Eclipse DOT’s event, the speakers will challenge me to think critically about my work. They will also provide me with actions and advice I can start using immediately.
This is a networking opportunity I can’t miss. Some of the industry’s top leaders, accountability, performance improvement, and collaboration experts will be at Eclipse DOT’s Event (both as speakers and as participants). I will have the opportunity to interact with leaders in our field, learn from each other’s challenges and successes, and create lasting connections that will help our company excel.
Step 4: Know their Language.
I’m not talking about English, Spanish, or Chinese. What I’m saying is that everyone has a different language that makes them happier.
Some people love talking in person or over the phone, while others like emails or texts. And some people really like to get gifts or hear how much appreciate them.
Gary Chapman calls it the 5 love languages. And I agree with him 150%
We all have different languages that we like to speak.
So when you get ready to talk to your manager make sure that you are speaking their language.
If they love emails then don’t waste their time by talking to them first.
If they love talking then don’t send them an email asking about the event.
If they love gifts, then give them something small and personal to help your chances of getting to go.
Or if they are a physical touch type of person, then you want to start the conversation off with a firm handshake.
I think you get the point.
Step 5: Make A Formal Request
By making a formal request they know that you are serious.
You can write a compelling request letter containing all the necessary information your manager needs to make an informed decision. Or you can just make an outline for the conversation you want to have with them.
o Be upfront in your introduction and state your top three reasons for attending.
o Let them know how the event will benefit you, and the company.
o Consider including a few reasons you’d like to attend and a list of 5 people you’d like to network with while you are there.
o You should also include an estimated cost breakdown. (How much do you need for travel, meals, and lodging? This will provide you with a negotiating tool; your manager may be willing to send you if you can find a way to reduce meal or lodging costs.
Step 6: Control Your Emotions
The worst thing that you can do is get upset when you don’t get what you want. As a leader when someone gets upset, the first thing that enters my mind is, “Wow I’m glad I didn’t say yes to that!”
On the other hand, when someone asks for something, we just can’t make it happen this time. I actually make a reminder in my calendar to reconsider it when I have a few seconds. And most of the time I end up getting them tickets to go to the event.
If I don’t get tickets for that event, then almost always I get them for the next one that comes up.
Be sure that you have a plan if they say no to how you are going to react. This will help ensure that you can go to future events.

Before I was the EXPERT, I was just like YOU! Well kind of. lol
I got my CDL when I turned 18 years old, and as I like to say, spent the rest of my life trying to get away from trucks. (LOL)
I have held positions from general labor to company executive, and about a dozen positions in between. Some people are all over the place, I have quite literally been in every position imaginable!
At one point, I had become the DOT manager for the largest non-union oil and gas contractor in the United States. They had undergone an audit and were at risk of losing their DOT number altogether!
The boss can to me, knowing I was always up for a challenge and that I had an appetite for challenging tasks, and asked if I would be willing to HELP SAVE the company from being completely shut down.
If you know me, you can imagine my response...
"LET'S DO THIS THING!"
Within three months, that company went from being one of the lowest scores in the nation, under 1% compliance, to being one of the highest safety-rated companies in the nation!
In fact, I took them from under 1% to over 74% compliant in less than 90 days! and all the way up to 98% in less just under a year!
After that journey, I had one of my infamous "AHA!" moments.
I saw a need for compliance solutions that weren't as complex as the regulations and I noticed that people were wanting to follow the rules, but the government made the rules too complicated to understand in the first place.
So I stepped out on my own, and Eclipse DOT was born!
Ever since that Eclipse has grown like a weed! (Except people want us around LOL)
Today, Eclipse DOT has:
